CLI command
spis verify-reference-evidence
Measure evidence fields and completeness for every catalog or one selected catalog.
Invocation#
spis verify-reference-evidence [--catalog <catalog>] [--apply] [--no-state-match] [--jobs <n>]Measure evidence fields and completeness for every catalog or one selected catalog.
Inputs and options#
--catalog <catalog>limits processing; without it all discovered catalogs are measured.--applyenables writes;--no-state-matchskips frame/state matching.--jobs <n>takes a positive integer; without it as many records are measured at once as the machine runs threads (available_parallelism).
Output and state effects#
By default it is an explicit dry run: it reports per-catalog completeness and gap counts and writes nothing. --apply rewrites measured records and index status/count fields. State matching is on unless --no-state-match. The required interface families are the ones the reference contract declares. In a motion analysis, an older field spelling is rewritten to the contract's field; a field the contract does not declare is removed with the gap motion analysis field "NAME" is not in the reference contract and was removed (it held VALUE), and a timing class it does not declare becomes null with the gap motion analysis timing class "VALUE" is not a timing class the contract declares and was removed. A record-level measurement error is logged and other records continue.
Refusals#
These messages are emitted by the current Rust implementation:
- Missing values are
--catalog needs a valueor--jobs needs a value. - A jobs value that is not a positive integer is
--jobs expects a positive integer; a machine whose parallelism cannot be read without--jobsis--jobs is not set and the machine's parallelism is unreadable. - Unknown input is refused as
unknown argument: VALUE.
