CLI command
spis check-upstream-drift
Compare retained evidence with local bytes, upstream README revisions, and source URLs.
Invocation#
spis check-upstream-drift [--skip-network] [--skip-readme] [--write-report] [--strict]Compare retained evidence with local bytes, upstream README revisions, and source URLs.
Inputs and options#
- All options are booleans:
--skip-network,--skip-readme,--write-report, and--strict. - The command takes no positional arguments.
Output and state effects#
Always checks local evidence. Unless --skip-network, it also checks README blob SHAs and source URLs; --skip-readme suppresses only README network checks. It prints counters and details. --write-report retains the actual observations in the active corpus's ignored .build/upstream-drift.json, never a public corpus-root report. --strict exits 1 when drift exists, while the default reports drift without failing solely because drift was found. Guarded sources remain distinct from gone or unresolved sources.
Refusals#
These messages are emitted by the current Rust implementation:
- Any unknown option or positional is refused as
unknown argument: VALUE.
