Invocation#

spis catalog-type remove <slug> [--force]

Remove an entire managed catalog directory.

Inputs and options#

• <slug> is required. --force is required when indexed records or stored reference directories exist.

Output and state effects#

Recursively deletes the normalized catalog directory, regenerates indexes, and prints removed PATH. The operation permanently mutates evidence.

Refusals#

These messages are emitted by the current Rust implementation:

• the following arguments are required: slug
• PATH does not exist
• PATH holds N example(s) and N reference director(ies); passing --force deletes that evidence permanently
• PATH/sources.json states no examples list
• Unsupported or extra input is unrecognized argument: VALUE.
